Our projects
During the year, we organise workshops every Saturday at Danscentrumjette and during the week with BROM - de Brede School van Molenbeek. We also organise workshops during the school holidays and periodic projects with schools, cultural centres and other non-profit organisations, such as the summer workshop Bouge MoVe Beweeg, an outdoor choreographic creation, and every year we develop a choreographic creation with the 10+ class as part of the park poetic festival.

CREA 10+
Open to all!
Every year we have the pleasure of developing a collective creation during the CREA10+ course, which usually takes place at the end of August during the Park Poetic festival with whom we are partners (formerly SuperVlieg-SuperMouche). The teenagers are then confronted, beyond developing their ease in movement, with creating choreographic material and making creative choices. We give them communication tools, create new ones with them, and always work horizontally in all creative processes. From pure research to the creation of material, through the exploration and transformation of the latter to discarding certain ideas to finally arrive at the quintessence and a final result. This project creates strong links between young people and the collective dimension is highly valued. As usual, we do not give them any aesthetic advice, but support them and help them in this project, so that what they dream of can come true.

Every summer, MoVart organises a two-week choreographic creation workshop for children aged 7 to 12. The first week takes place at our premises in the DCJ. Here we get to know each other and explore with the children the tools and methods of choreographic creation. The week ends with a presentation of the participants' creations. In the second week, we go on a residency in a gîte in the Ardennes countryside. There we develop the participants' choreographic ideas based on the learning received in the first week. We also learn to live together and to be in a creative environment where we can experiment with each other's ideas. At the end of the week, we welcome the parents on site and present them with the children's creations (solo and group), and then share a convivial moment of exchange and reunion.
